Warehouse Operations Manager

About the role

The company is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager with a strong background in managing warehouse operations, with a particular focus on retail store distribution and e-commerce and marketplace order fulfilment. The role covers inbound operations, order fulfilment across all channels, dispatch and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and distribution.
• Oversee inbound operations from receiving and quality verification through to GRN completion and put-away.
• Take full ownership of order fulfilment for retail stores, e-commerce, marketplaces (Amazon, Noon, etc.), wholesale and export customers.
• Pick, pack and dispatch daily retail store replenishment orders on time to stores across multiple locations in the UAE.
• Ensure e-commerce and marketplace orders meet agreed SLAs and delivery timelines.
• Plan and optimise warehouse workflows to maximise productivity, accuracy and speed.
• Manage daily dispatch using the company fleet, couriers and third-party logistics partners.
• Monitor backlogs, pending orders, fulfilment performance and inventory availability, and implement corrective actions.
• Keep physical stock aligned with ERP records and maintain accurate inventory movements.
• Supervise, coach and develop a team of 30-35 warehouse employees.
• Improve processes for receiving, storage, inventory, picking, packing, shipping and returns, and manage reverse logistics.
• Maintain warehouse documentation, shipment records and inventory reports.
• Ensure security, housekeeping, health and safety standards and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment and company vehicles.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar warehouse management role.
• Proven experience managing retail store distribution and knowledge of locations across the UAE.
• Extensive experience managing high-volume e-commerce and marketplace fulfilment, including Amazon, Noon and other online platforms.
• Experience managing import and export shipments, including familiarity with customs regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 30 employees.
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle are mandatory; flexible or extended hours may be required.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict delivery deadlines.
