Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for Midis Group by identifying new market opportunities and securing strategic deals in the IT solutions space. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead projects from concept through implementation, building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify new markets, client needs and partnership opportunities across data centre, network infrastructure, business continuity and cyber‑security services.
• Negotiate and close sales contracts for IT solutions including SAP, Salesforce, Dell, NVIDIA, AWS, Google Cloud, Generative AI, data analytics and machine‑learning platforms.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on business proposals and strategic projects.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, conduct feasibility studies and financial simulations.
• Coordinate progress of strategic projects, recommend improvements and oversee after‑sales support.
• Lead, coach and develop the business development team, conduct performance reviews and plan succession.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience selling IT services and solutions, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven track record of securing high‑value contracts and building a professional network.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
