Fitter – Mechanical Installation & Assembly

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Fitter to join our bridge services team in Dubai. You will be responsible for assembling, installing and aligning mechanical components on construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, align and fit mechanical components, pipes, structures and equipment according to drawings and specifications.
• Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding, drilling and fitting on construction and industrial projects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical sketches and work instructions.
• Carry out maintenance, repair and replacement of mechanical parts and equipment.
• Inspect completed work to verify compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with welders, fabricators, mechanics and other trades to complete work efficiently.

Required profile

• High School certificate, ITI, Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Fitting trade.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Fitter in construction, infrastructure, industrial or oil & gas projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication details.
• Good knowledge of safety procedures and site practices.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
