Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor oversees and coordinates all logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation, distribution, and storage of goods. The role involves leading a team of drivers, warehouse staff, and administrators to meet operational goals while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement daily logistics operational goals and develop logistics programmes, budgets, and timelines for new operations.
• Maintain relationships with warehouses, carriers, customs brokers, and customers, negotiating costs with third‑party logistics providers.
• Plan and monitor inventory levels, coordinate shipments, and ensure timely delivery of products in good condition.
• Design and document standard operating procedures, improve internal and external logistics processes, and support HSE initiatives.
• Prepare situation reports on stock, equipment, and pre‑positioned goods, and manage site set‑up logistics such as hoarding, gates, and waste management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Candidate must be based in Abu Dhabi, hold a transferable visa, and be available on short notice.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities with a proven track record of optimizing logistics operations.

Required skills

• SAP functional skills and ERP knowledge.
• Proficiency with logistics software and inventory management systems.
• Understanding of transportation, supply chain operations, and logistics principles.
