Steel Fixer – Construction Site (Dubai)

About the role

The Steel Fixer will work on a Dubai construction site, interpreting drawings and specifications to cut, bend, and assemble steel reinforcement for concrete structures. This full‑time, on‑site position requires close collaboration with supervisors and other trades to ensure accurate and safe installation.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and reinforcement schedules.
• Cut, bend, and position steel bars for columns, beams, slabs, and foundations.
• Secure reinforcement using appropriate tying methods and tools.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely, following site safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report hazards or material issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience (at least 1 month) as a steel fixer or in a similar reinforcement role.
• Ability to work safely at heights and follow fall protection practices.
• Physical capability to lift, bend, and work in various weather conditions.
• Good teamwork, communication, and reliability.
• Relevant vocational training or certification is an advantage.

• Basic salary of 1,500 AED
