Senior Manager – Enterprise Data Architect

About the role

We are seeking a strategic technology leader to join Emirates as Senior Manager – Enterprise Data Architect. In this role you will define and govern the enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring scalable, secure and sustainable data solutions across the Group’s IT landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise IT standards and architectural principles aligned with corporate strategy, reducing duplication and supporting long‑term growth.
• Research and assess emerging technologies and market trends, leading modernisation roadmaps and managing technical debt.
• Coach, mentor and lead solution architects and development teams, fostering collaboration and building internal capability.
• Lead the evolution of enterprise‑wide architecture across infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity and platform domains, embedding resilience, automation and security.
• Establish strategic direction, standards and governance for data and analytics, safeguarding information quality, integrity and security.
• Act as a thought leader and consultant to business units, promoting well‑architected frameworks and best practices.
• Drive technology investment decisions through total cost of ownership and cost‑benefit analysis, providing architectural leadership in vendor selection.
