About the role

The Economics Program in the Division of Social Sciences at NYU Abu Dhabi is seeking economists with outstanding research records for a tenured position as Associate Professor or Professor of Economics. The faculty is ranked among the top departments in Asia and offers a dynamic, diverse environment. The position comes with generous research support, a standard teaching load of three courses per year, and appointments starting on September 1, 2027 or September 1, 2028, subject to final budget approval.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Economics
• Substantial publication record and an active research agenda in all areas of economics
• Strong preference for senior candidates
